For the telecommunications industry, the Group manufactures cables and accessories for voice, video and data transmission, offering a comprehensive range of optical fibres, optical and copper cables and connectivity systems.

One of its global businesses is the Multimedia Solutions that provide cables to Local Access Network, Data Centers and Special Solutions in different market segments, like Studio broadcast, CATV and industrial applications.

Locations in Germany: Headquarter, Sales and Production Sites



The Junior Salesman is responsible for developing the sales of Multimedia Solutions Cables in the Special Segment / KAM Management. The position shall be responsible to develop the market and to build a network to sell special applications.



A new recruitment program is implemented and offers a top training scheme involving an Academy, which will focus on further developing the skills essential for the career of the candidates selected. The programme will include  training in the headquarter.



The candidate will report to the Commercial Sales Director.


Office location

The incumbent should be located in Germany, he is working from homeoffice.



Main Activities

Develop new Sales channels and drive Business Develop, know and apply the commercial strategy of   Multimedia Solution in terms of price, products and  Volumes Work in the most appropriate way to achieve the expected results in terms of Sales and Contribution Margin
Sales turnover and CM in DE for MMS special applications Define and Manage the product portfolio according to product strategy for MMS products
Identify additional customer
Identify the markets incl. Size
Introduce  new products (Types, performance criteria)
Develop an appropriate relationship with the clients
Negotiate the commercial opportunities
Actively promote the solution in front of the customer.
Influence the customer choice most favorable to the company’s interests.
Sales Key Account for selected potential customers, acting on a local or international basis
Create a close working relation with MMS Technical Sales support and Product Management
Listen actively and give constructive feedback to customer’s technical complaints and negotiate the most favorable solution for the company. Co-ordinate the investigation and the effective response to technical product complaints using aslo TSS and PM support
Support and direct the acting Customer Care people
Forecast the commercial results



Job requirements



Due to the fact the company is looking for young professionals the average age should be suitable



University degree preferable in Electric & Electronic Engineering or similar


Professional experience

3-7 years of professional, sales-oriented hands-on experience in the cable industry. Coupled with this must be the experience of finding the decision-makers among the customer target groups.


Personal Characteristics

Candidates should have a degree and exceptional Communication/ interpersonal skills. Additional consideration will be provided for candidates with substantive public speaking/presentation experience. We are looking for a self-motivated individual that has the ability to act independently.We are seeking an aggressive business person with sound judgment, the poise to work with all levels of management and the initiative required to help grow a business.


Language knowledge

A reliable knowledge of business German and English suitable for negotiations is essential.



Good proficient IT skills in the use of Microsoft Office, including word, excel and PowerPoint.



The incumbent will receive an suitable remuneration package.

The provision of a suitable vehicle to include private use is possible.

As soon as possible. Existing periods of notice will be taken into account.
