POSITION

Sales and Marketing Assistant (m/w/d)                    

 

Job Description

Based in a home office in Germany, the candidate we are seeking (m/f/d) will serve as a key liaison with our international locations (the U.S., the Czech Republic, and Spain). The focus of this role is to act as a technically skilled sales assistant (m/f/d), providing intensive support to the sales team in all aspects of order management and quote preparation. Responsibilities also include assisting with trade show planning and coordinating the trade show booth. This position is intended to establish high-quality administrative and operational support, thereby ensuring efficient sales processes and seamless internal and external communication.                                                       

 

Reports to: The Business Development Manager in Germany

Regular place of work: This position does not require on-site presence and is fully remote.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Tradeshow task management
  • Hotel / travel booking
  • Sales assistance to Sales Germany & Business Development Manager
  • Internal communication with global offices
  • Complete order processing
  • Order placement based on data from Sales & BDM
  • Order tracking
  • Sample shipment coordination
  • Overdue invoice tracking
  • Creation of marketing documents / datasheets
  • Coordination of catalog ordering / updates
  • Tender platform opportunity tracking for sales opportunities

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS       

 Age range: There are no specific requirements here; what matters is the knowledge and experience you can demonstrate.

 Education: A technical or business degree is preferred, but ultimately the right fit and personality are what matter most.

Work experience: Ideally, the candidate has experience in a sales support role and is interested in technology. Extensive experience with Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams) is required.

IT skills: Experience in all Office 365 applications (Excel, pptx, Word, Teams), it would be ideal if  candidates have a solid knowledge with the Helios ERP system (but it is not a must have)                                                                                             

Personal characteristics

  • Completely proficient
  • strong self-management skills
  • proactive personality

 

Foreign language skills: German & English fluently. It would be great if Czech language is also available

Income: It must be tailored to the nature of the position as well as the candidate’s knowledge and experience.                                                          

Start of employment: As soon as possible. Of course, we will take existing notice periods into account.
